Sterling Stars Basketball Academy?

Sterling Stars Basketball Academy is designed to coach, train, mentor and advance trainees to the highest level of proficiency and mastery in basketball skills, techniques and fundamentals.

Our holistic approach focuses on building the trainees’ physical characteristics of strength, endurance, speed, flexibility, body and spatial awareness and balance. Trainees will also develop the important mental characteristics of discipline, patience, humility, self-control, perseverance, concentration and respect.

Demonstrated proficiency of our Program of Study (POS) will enhance the performance of trainees in their chosen sports, as well as other endeavors that challenge the mind, require cognitive development, increase learning capacity and improve brain function and critical thinking skills like academics, the arts, technology and other disciplines.

How does the POS work?

All trainees will begin their training at "Achievement Level 1 - High School Junior Varsity."

Trainees will undergo the rigors of the POS and will train and progress at their own rate, in accordance with their own desire and ability.

As trainees progress through the POS, honing and perfecting their physical and mental abilities, they will be selected to "test up" by passing SKILLS LEVEL TRAINING EXAMS working their way through nine ACHIEVEMENT LEVELS. As trainees advance, they are rewarded according to their level of growth in knowledge and proficiency.

Sterling Stars Basketball Academy operates the program of study year-round, which makes it seamless for new trainees to begin at anytime, and allows seasoned trainees to continue their pursuit of mastering the game.

Tuition Options

Sterling Stars Basketball Academy has the most unique training and mentoring program of study. Each tuition option includes tremendous value. Choose one that's best for you.

Option 1: Apprentice

Train one (1) consistent day per week

Monday, Tuesday or Thursday

$105.00 per month

Breaks down to $26.25 per
training session

DISCOUNTS: 5% off apparel, camps and clinics and other training services

Option 2: Master

Train two (2) consistent days
per week

Monday, Tuesday or Thursday

Enrollment Fee
There is a $30.00 non-refundable enrollment fee, which includes one logo tee shirt and headband.

Test Up Fee
Testing occurs approximately every three months or based on trainee’s level of growth. There is a $50.00 non-refundable test up fee, which covers
an oral, written and skills training exam. Trainees who don't pass either exam are required to retake it with no additional fee.

What is required for every training session?

Arrive 15 minutes EARLY to drop off and pick up your child. Adults are welcomed to stay quietly during training.

An adult must accompany child in and out of Sterling Stars Basketball Academy and sign in and check out on the iPad located at the front desk.

Headband – provided at the first training session.
NO HEADBAND, NO TRAINING.

Sterling Stars Basketball Academy logo tee shirt – provided at the first training session. NO SHIRT, NO TRAINING.

Black athletic shorts.

Basketball shoes and socks.

Age-recommended basketball. Write child’s name on ball in permanent marker.
